Dear Parents, please allow us to re-introduce ourselves. We are The Sensory Station, an Advancement Center for your child’s learning success. 

We are often mistaken as simply a tutoring center, but we are so much more.  Welcome to our Public Service Announcement. 🙂

Teachers use classroom instruction and presentations to help students learn and apply concepts of various academic subjects. Tutors focuses on students’ individual academic needs to help them improve their understanding in a specific subject. The Sensory Station focuses on HOW your child learns and will advance your child’s learning beyond “doing OK”. We believe students need to learn how to confidently compete academically and understand what doing their best means.

Here are the 5 things you should know about our Advancement Program:

1. We focus on how your child learns; and we assist parents to develop these same talents following each lesson.
2. Our goal is to progress your children, ages 3 to 12, in higher level thinking through specific brain tasks and typical school tasks.
3. We utilize our unique advancement curriculum which incorporates sensorial learning to enhance your child’s academic success. 
4. We offer parent consulting to include multiple meetings and assessments to discuss your child’s progress and continual growth.
5. We support your child whether they are below grade level… on grade level… or above grade level students.
