Summer is on its way!!!

In this day, everyone offers a camp.  Schools, government agencies, community centers, churches, private organizations, and your neighbors offer camps that are presented as enriching and fun.  The Sensory Station (TSS) program offers more than enrichment and fun. We offer an experience made of commitment, attention to detail, and designed completely with your child in mind.

When seeking a summer camp, we recommend asking these 6 questions:

Question 1: How many students will participate in the program each day?

The Sensory Station instructs children in a space of 3,600 square feet with a maximum of 19 campers each week.  Children are grouped based on age and interest.

Question 2: How will your staff engage my child throughout the day?

TSS creates an individual plan for learning based on your child’s learning style, grade, and academic skill level.  They also happen to be super fun!

Question 3: What are the options after an activity or lesson is complete?  Will they need to amuse themselves?

TSS has nine available rooms designed to inspire, challenge, and develop your child’s natural ability to learn.  Selections are made by the camper after each lesson. (All breaks are supervised and filled with fun.)

Question 4: Will my child make friends and have fun?

The key to summer camp at TSS is the social interaction of the campers.  The plan for learning incorporates the interest, learning style, and demeanor of your child’s personality.  He will be encouraged to engage in activities, as well as relax on a TSS sensorial break when requested.

Question 5: Do you deliver what is promised?

The Sensory Station has an onsite Director of Curriculum, who actively works with your child.  When needed, updates are made to the plan for learning to ensure the activities and lessons are delivered successfully.

Question 6: Are you a State of Maryland Licensed camp?

The Sensory Station has maintained a successful youth license by the State of Maryland for the past 5 years.  Our on-call nurse reviews the health and medical reports of each camper, ensuring TSS staff are properly trained and ready, in case of an emergency.
